Background History

The Apostles of Unlimited Love Sisters is a Diocesan Congregation of Kayanga Catholic Diocese, founded by the Late Bishop Christopher Mwoleka in 1987. In 1996 Bishops Severine NiweMugizi was appointed to take care of the Diocese of Rulenge. He received and continued to form the Religious Congregation of the Apostles of Unlimited Love Sisters (RCAULS). He also saw the need to continue forming it more fully in accordance with the demands of Canon Law as regards the religious life. He therefore requested the Religious Congregation of Sisters of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus from Bukoba Catholic Diocese, to help in the continuation of forming the Congregation towards its maturity and self–reliance.
